Send Site Details โWhere Concrete Blocks Are Used
A straightforward, visible way of closing off vehicle access to land or premises that isn’t in regular use, or that needs protecting while it stands empty.
Vacant Land & Fields
Blocking field gates, lay-bys and open land access points to help deter unwanted vehicles and encampments.
Car Parks
Closing off car parks outside of use, or while a site is temporarily shut, to help stop overnight access and misuse.
Industrial Units & Yards
Securing entrances to empty units, yards and service roads to help reduce fly-tipping and unauthorised parking.
Development Sites
Closing access to land awaiting development or between project phases, where a simple barrier is all that’s needed.
Points to Consider Before Ordering
A few things worth checking so the blocks can be delivered and left in place without issues.
Blocks should only be placed on land you own or have permission to secure.
Avoid blocking fire routes, emergency access or anyone else’s right of way.
Blocks on a road, pavement or verge usually need permission from the local council.
The delivery vehicle needs reasonable access and firm ground close to where the blocks are going.
Hire or Purchase?
Both options use the same standard concrete blocks. The right choice usually comes down to how long you need them for.

Common Questions
Can’t see your question here? Give us a call on 0800 193 0611 and we’ll be happy to help.
How many blocks will I need?
It depends on the width of each entrance or gap you want to close. If you send us measurements or a few photos of the site, we’ll help you work out a sensible number before quoting.
Do the blocks need fixing down?
No. They are free-standing and rely on their own weight to stay in place, so no foundations or groundworks are needed.
How quickly can blocks be delivered?
This depends on your location and the supplier’s availability at the time. We’ll confirm a delivery date with you when we send the quote.
Do you cover my area?
Send us the site postcode and we’ll check availability and delivery for your location.
Will the blocks stop all access?
Concrete blocks are designed to stop vehicles getting onto a site. They are not a fence, so people on foot may still be able to get through. If you need full site security, get in touch and we can talk through other options.
Can blocks be placed on a road or pavement?
Placing anything on a public highway, pavement or verge usually needs permission from the local council. We can only arrange delivery to land you own or have permission to use.
Can the blocks be moved or collected later?
Yes. Because of their weight they need lifting equipment to move, but we can arrange extra blocks, relocation or collection on request.
What information do you need for a quote?
The site postcode, how many entrances you want to block, rough widths or photos, whether you’d prefer hire or purchase, and any access restrictions for the delivery vehicle.
