๐ Call 0800 193 0611Common Reasons Businesses Call
Whether it’s an emergency or a planned job, these are the situations we’re most often asked to help with.
Locked Out
Staff can’t get into the premises, a key has snapped, or a lock has failed. Call us any time and we’ll arrange a locksmith.
After a Break-In
A lock has been forced or damaged and the premises can’t be secured. Locks are repaired or replaced so the building can be locked again.
Lost Keys or Staff Changes
Keys have gone missing, or a member of staff or tenant has left. Changing or rekeying the locks means old keys no longer work.
After an Eviction
Once possession has been recovered, the locks are changed so the previous occupiers can’t get back in. Also available alongside our eviction service.
Good to Know Before You Call
A few things that help the locksmith get you sorted quickly.
The locksmith will need to see that you’re authorised to access the premises, such as ID and a lease or letter from the owner.
For a lockout, someone with that proof needs to be there to meet the locksmith when they arrive.
For planned lock changes, decide in advance who should receive the new keys.
If the door itself is badly damaged, a new lock may not be enough. Our steel security doors may help.

Both services are carried out by our trusted partner locksmith, with KSP as your single point of contact.

Common Questions
Can’t see your question here? Give us a call on 0800 193 0611 and we’ll be happy to help.
Is the service really 24/7?
Yes. You can call us for an emergency lockout at any time of day or night, including weekends and bank holidays.
How quickly can a locksmith get to me?
It depends on where you are and the time of day. When you call, we’ll arrange attendance and give you an idea of timings.
Will the door be damaged?
The locksmith will aim to gain entry with as little damage as possible. Sometimes the lock itself has to be removed and replaced, and they’ll explain this before going ahead.
What proof will I need?
The locksmith needs to be satisfied you’re authorised to access the premises, for example photo ID along with a lease, utility bill or letter from the owner or your employer.
Should I rekey or change the lock?
Rekeying alters the existing lock so old keys stop working, while changing replaces the lock completely. Both stop old keys from working, and the locksmith will advise which suits your doors.
Can you change locks after an eviction?
Yes. Lock changes are often needed once possession has been recovered, and can be arranged alongside our eviction service.
Do you cover my area?
Give us a call or send us the premises postcode and we’ll check availability for your location.
Do you help with homes as well?
Our service is aimed at commercial premises. If your property is residential, call us and we’ll let you know if we can help.
